My name is Matt Adcock and I’ve been shooting weddings in Atlanta Georgia, with a focus in shooting destination weddings around the world. One day a few years ago, I was introduced to the best destination wedding shooter on the planet. We started hanging out and shooting in some pretty crazy and exciting locations.

She is Sol Tamargo….If you haven’t had a chance to check out her blog, I would recommend it. She is covering weddings in some of the most exotic locations imaginable. She shoots a lot too, so new inspiration is always easy to find on her blog.

She calls Playa del Carmen her home, a cute little town about an hour south of Cancun in the Riviera Maya. We ended up starting a studio together there and are now operating 2 studios in 2 countries.

We offer coverage together under del Sol Photography, primarily specializing in destination weddings. Recently, we were covering a trash the dress session in the Riviera Maya in one of the most exotic locations. I was lucky enough to have Susan Stripling on location, sneaking a shot or two. If you haven’t had a chance to see her work, I’d highly recommend it… That gal gets big props from us!

So, that is us, just a couple of photographers. We both heavily use our off camera speedlights. I would consider myself a strobe enthusiast.
