flash flavor publication station
Flash Flavor has been slowly seeping its way into the printed press! Apparently, someone thinks we have some interesting ideas on this site! I think this is proof that if you add a little flava to your game, the imagery will start to look better!
I’m stoked that we were featured in 3 magazines in December, each featuring our FLAVA…

What is the stink all about? I shot this image with an overhead rig, on a painters pole with a off camera flavor slave dropping red accents to the background! I’ve since tried to do this again, but can’t seem to get it nailed down as good as this one time! Anybody else out there get anything good from trying this technique? I’d like to see it! Sol Tamargo was featured in this Ukrainian Magazine last month,opening image all about some Flavor! There are so many amazing photos throughout the whole magazine… I just wish I could read IT! Congrats on the ink! It’s always cool to see your work featured in a different medium than you’re used to. Also, kudos for the Ken Sklute link. It’s not often we drag racing photographers see each other’s names in places other than racing books. If there’s one exception though, it would be Ken.

Thats awesome that you are getting the press. I love that you are bringing the attention back to creative lighting. So many years it has been “natural light photographer” and I see flash photography as a nessesary tool for wedding photography, and can really change the dynamics of a photograph. Your site ROCKS>>>thanks for spreading the news, CONGRATS.

Sure congrats with publicity. This mag is pretty popular in Russia/Ukraine and I guess some more xUSSR countries

Dear Sol! I’m impressed with your photos! We’re also photographers and also use double-flash technic. We found out your website in Photographer Ukraine Magazine, but we don’t expect to find ukrainian magazine itself on this site
